How do I manage my tasks?
Create a task with a title, a status and a priority. The due date is optional, but setting a time makes the date required. Every task has a reminder a chosen number of hours before it is due, repeating a chosen number of times. There are five statuses and four priorities, and a task can be tied to a project. Free allows three tasks and Creator fifty.
What a task needs
From tasks, create one. Required:
- A title.
- A status.
- A priority.
- The reminder offset and how many times it repeats.
Optional: a description, a due date, and a related project.
The five statuses
Pending · In progress · Overdue · Completed · Canceled
The four priorities
Low · Medium · High · Urgent
Date and time
The due date is optional. But if you set a time, the date becomes required, because "3pm" with no day is not a deadline.
Reminders
Each task reminds you a chosen number of hours before it is due, up to 8,760 hours, a full year. It repeats up to 24 times.
The repetition is the point: a reminder that arrives once while you are busy is a reminder that did not arrive. Four for something urgent will nag you until it is done, which is what you asked it to do.
