How do I set a reminder before a publish date?
Each scheduled entry can remind you a day, twelve hours, six hours, three hours or one hour before it is due. You can also set how many follow-up reminders you get if the date passes without the content being marked published, up to ten. Your next four upcoming reminders appear on the dashboard.
The five offsets
When setting a publish date, choose when to be reminded:
- A day before
- 12 hours before
- 6 hours before
- 3 hours before
- 1 hour before
Pick by how much time you actually need. An hour is enough for a post whose copy is already written; something that needs a file uploaded or a final review wants a day.
Follow-ups when it slips
If the date passes and the content has not been marked published, Bardiyah can keep reminding you. You set how many of those follow-ups, up to ten, or zero, in which case nothing arrives after the date.
The point is that late content does not fall out of your head simply because its moment passed.
On the dashboard
The dashboard shows your next four upcoming reminders, so you can see what is coming without opening the schedule.
