How do I export a script to PDF or Word?

Requires Creator See plans

Open the script and choose to export it as PDF or Word. Both formats are available on Creator, Pro and Studio, and not on the Free plan. The content cards are exported in their current order, so what you see on screen is what lands in the file. If you only need someone to read the script rather than keep a copy, a public share link is the better tool.

The two formats

From the script page, choose to export:

  • PDF: for reading and printing, and it looks the same wherever it is opened.
  • Word: for editing, when someone needs to write on the text rather than only read it.

The script exports with its cards in their current order.

The alternative without files

If the point is for someone to read the script rather than keep a copy of it, a public share link fits better: it opens in a browser with no account, and you can switch it off later, which you cannot do to a file you have already sent.
