How do I send a quotation for the client to approve?
Create a share link for the quotation and set how long it lasts, between one and 365 days. The client opens it, reads the quote with no account, then approves or rejects it and can leave a note. Their decision changes the quotation status on your side immediately to approved or rejected, so you never have to chase them or move the status yourself.
Creating the link
From the quotation, create a share link and set how many days it lasts: from one day to 365.
What the client does
They open the link and read the quotation with no account and no sign-in, then choose:
- Approve
- Reject
They can leave a note with their decision.
What happens on your side
Their decision changes the quotation's status for you immediately, to approved or rejected. You do not move the status by hand, and you do not have to ask whether they have looked at it.
That is the difference between sending a file and sending a link: a file is read and you never know, while a link comes back with the answer.
Why the expiry is required
A quotation has a shelf life. Prices change and calendars fill, and a link that never expires is an offer that can be accepted a year later at last year's price.
