How do I create a Bardiyah account?

Open the sign-up page and enter your name, email address and a password, then accept the terms. There is no confirmation email to wait for: the account works the moment you create it, and starts on the Free plan with no card required. You can turn on two-factor authentication afterwards from your profile page.

What signing up needs

A Bardiyah account needs four things and nothing else:

  1. Your name, as you want it shown on your account.
  2. An email address not already used by another account.
  3. A password.
  4. Accepting the terms and privacy policy.

What happens immediately afterwards

There is no confirmation email and nothing to activate. Your account is usable the moment you finish signing up.

It starts on the Free plan automatically, with no card and no trial period that runs out. You stay on Free until you choose to upgrade.

Signing in later

Use the same email and password from the sign-in page. If you forget your password, request a reset link from the "forgot password" page and it will arrive by email.

Adding two-factor authentication

Your account supports two-factor authentication through an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator. You will find it on your profile page, and it asks you to confirm both the code and your password before switching on, so you cannot accidentally lock yourself out.

Once enabled you are given recovery codes. Keep them somewhere safe: they are how you get in if you lose your phone.
