What is a project, and when do I need one?
A project in Bardiyah is a space that holds everything belonging to one body of work: its ideas, its scripts and its shoot days. Creating one needs only a name. Free allows three projects, Creator ten, and Pro and Studio have no limit. If you make one kind of content for one channel, a single project is usually enough.
What a project holds
A project is an umbrella, not a folder of files. Ideas, scripts and the planning attached to them gather underneath it, so you can look at one body of work whole instead of hunting for its pieces across separate pages.
Creating one
Open your projects and add a new one. The only required field is the name.
When you need more than one
The practical rule is one project per separate stream of work. A second channel, a different client, a series with its own identity: each of those is a project. If you make one kind of content for one channel, one project is enough, and splitting it further scatters your work for no gain.
How many projects each plan allows
| Plan | Projects |
|---|---|
| Free | 3 |
| Creator | 10 |
| Pro | Unlimited |
| Studio | Unlimited |
When you reach the limit, Bardiyah tells you as you try to create another. You can compare the plans and their prices.
